Post a Comment!

The countdown is on! The official WYD '08 Opening Mass with Cardinal Pell + 400 Bishops + 2,000 priests and young people from around the globe will be at 4:30 this afternoon at Barangaroo (they have lots of fun words like that here). Come Holy Spirit!!! The Love and life site is gaining a great deal of media attention - Sr. Mary Gabriel, Sr. John Mary and I participated in our first press conference this morning at the international media center down at Darling Harbor where all the action is at. Interestingly, one of the things they were intrigued about was the fact that we are blogging from the site and that there are many people back in the Ststes that are following what's happening here virtually - so don't be shy, post a comment! People in Australia want to hear what you think about World Youth Day and the Love and Life Site!

Go sisters! Great to see you have a full program, a strong contingent in Australia, and an excellent blog and website that keeps those of us that are far away informed and inspired. Our prayers are with you, all the way from DC. Viva papa!

Thank you so much Sisters of Life for having this blog. I feel a greater part of WYD from over here in Arlington, VA and I can just feel the Holy Spirit working over there. Keep all of us who couldn't make it in your prayers!

Sisters (Sr. Rose Clairvaux),

I am so glad that you have this blog. I have been keeping up with the WYD activies when I found this. I hope everyone is doing well. Just take care no to eat too many vegimite sandwiches. I hear you have to acquire a taste for them. Please send more pictures!! I enjoy seeing them and would like to send them to family. Keep safe and have fun.

Love
Karen, Chris & the rest of the Hildens

Sisters glad to see your smiling faces at WYD. However remember your Texas convent here in Fort Worth. It is so great to see you spreading so much joy and love of God. If you see the Fort Worth Pilgrims and the CFR give them a big hug for us. Hurry back to Texas

The Demma home waits eagerly for your return.

Thank you for keeping us back in the states updated on the happenings! Be assured of our continued prayers for your order and mission. Please pass on to Sr. Bethany, Sr. Mariam, and Sr. Giovanna that little Maggie hasn't made her arrival just yet, but things have been picking up. We appreciate the prayers of the sisters as we move closer to labor and delivery and know that we offer this special time for the Love and Life site:) God Bless!

Your joy and excitment is penetrating us all. Your example of your service gives us all something to strive for. Keep the "God Stories" coming Photos too. Sr.Brigid Ancilla Marie we love you and all the sisters. Barb, John Rae and Con.
